​Elisabeth Burgun is graduated from Visual Arts at Paris University. She also studied at Paris Decorative Arts school. Then she was taught calligraphy and oriental painting at Paris Calligraphy and Oriental Painting Academy which was created by the Korean master Ung-No Lee and the artist In Kyung Park.
She is a member of Art of Ink in America Society. She participated in painting exhibitions in Korea, Germany, Italy “Nijiro – One Mind and One Heart”, U.S.A. “Gesture and Beyond”, in France (Paris) “L’Esprit de l’Encre” with the group Moukki, as well as in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France.
I live and work in Nantes : a city not far from the Atlantic western cost of France.
I use the oriental or latin calligraphy as a weft. Then the painting is built gradually like a tapestry. The inspiring nature is always in my mind.
