Claire Kito first studied graphic design in art schools and at the University in Paris, then the art of calligraphy with the great Korean Master Ung-No Lee and the artist Park In-Kyung, founders of l’Académie de Peinture Orientale de Paris (1964).
She is teaching the art of ink at Paris Ateliers, Académie de Peinture Orientale de Paris and Ricci Institute.
She participated in painting and calligraphy exhibitions, in France, Italy, Germany, Ecuador, China, Korea and United States. She exhibited with the Moukki group of Paris since his creation in 2004, with the Mulpa group of Seoul, and with the artists of the Art of Ink in America Society since 2008 and held solo exhibitions in France.
She wrote with Ch.Dabadie-Fabreguettes : Dialogues de l’encre et du pinceau, You Feng Editions Paris 2013.
She immerses herself in ancient Chinese poetry, mostly from the Tang Dynasty when Nature and Meditation were related. "Through the variety of brushstrokes, the choice of colors and composition, I try to convey the feeling of Nature".
